The Global Standards Management Process (GSMP) is a collaborative process that allows stakeholders from different sectors and regions to develop and maintain standards for industries including retail, healthcare and construction.
The GSMP is governed by GS1, which provides a neutral platform for consensus-building and coordination among the participants. The GSMP aims to create interoperable and harmonised standards that can improve efficiency, transparency, and innovation across the global supply chain.
There are a number of active working groups ensuring that GS1 standards support the needs of our members and partners, whilst also meeting the requirements of regulations such as the Digital Product Passport (DPP).
GS1 UK welcomes our members and partners participating in the GSMP process, as it will help ensure that our local expertise and requirements are represented in future publications of GS1 standards. Please contact us if you would like to learn more.
