The GTIN is the number that identifies a product and is normally shown beneath the barcode.
Search Verified by GS1
Once you’ve found the GTIN, you can search for information about it using Verified by GS1. The registry will bring up the company who licenses the GTIN and if it’s a genuine GS1 number. You will also see the GS1 Member Organisation that issued the number.
