Dashboard

When you log into My GS1 and access My Numberbank you'll see your dashboard. It provides an overview of all your GS1 Company Prefixes and the various number types within your account, showing recent activity and how many numbers you've assigned over the last 30 and 180 days.

My numbers

Further down on your dashboard, you'll find information about your different number types for each GS1 Company Prefix. Most GS1 UK members only have one prefix. GTIN-13s are the most used numbers, and you'll see a snapshot of your allocations.

Verified by GS1 status

This box shows what percentage of your products are shared or can be shared with the Verified by GS1 service. More information and videos are available on the GS1 UK website.

Items for attention

This section notifies you if you have an out-of-date Global Product Classification (GPC) code allocated to any products. If a GPC code is no longer in use, you'll see a link to a list of GTINs that need attention.

Quick action buttons

These buttons are visible for members with a single GS1 Company Prefix. They enable you to quickly assign numbers, They will disappear for users with multiple prefixes to make space for other number types.

GS1 Identifiers

On the left-hand side menu, you'll see all the different types of GS1 identifiers available within your membership. Most GS1 UK members will see GTIN-13s, GTIN-14s, and GLNs. Click on any identifier to allocate your numbers.

Members who have GTIN-12s, GTIN-8s, variable measure and coupon numbers will also see them listed here.

Simply click on the type of identifier you wish to allocate and a list of those numbers will load.

Imports and exports

This functionality allows you to get your data in and out of My Numberbank and is useful for bulk uploads. There is a separate video on how to do this.

Audit

The audit feature lets you see who has been doing what within My Numberbank, either at an organisational level or even changes to specific numbers.

Manage profile

The My Details tab is self-explanatory.

In the Organisation Members section, you can see all the My GS1 users within your organisation.

In the Organisation Allocations section, you can manage your numbers more easily and provide governance over who can do what. Click on the manage button to provide nicknames and descriptions for your different GS1 Company Prefixes.

If you have an admin role for My GS1, you can change permissions for other My Numberbank users. This is useful if you want a colleague to see which numbers have been assigned to what products without allowing them to edit or allocate numbers themselves.
